Arya Vysya Mahasabha President 2026: Illuru Lakshmaiah Wins Unanimously

కర్నూలుకు చెందిన ప్రముఖ ఆర్యవైశ్య నాయకుడు ఇల్లూరు లక్ష్మయ్య గారు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ఆర్యవైశ్య మహాసభ అధ్యక్షుడిగా 2026–2028 కాలానికి ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఎన్నికయ్యారు.
ఈసారి అధ్యక్ష పదవిని రాయలసీమ జోన్కు కేటాయించగా, ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియ కర్నూలులోని మహాసభ ప్రాంతీయ కార్యాలయంలో నిర్వహించారు. ఈ ఎన్నికలను మహాసభ గౌరవాధ్యక్షుడు పెనుగొండ సుబ్బారాయుడు పర్యవేక్షించారు.
అధ్యక్ష పదవికి రెండు నామినేషన్లు అందాయి. ఒకటి ఇల్లూరు లక్ష్మయ్య గారి నుండి, మరొకటి అనంతపురానికి చెందిన ముడియం రమణ గారి నుండి వచ్చింది. అయితే రమణ గారి నామినేషన్ను ప్రతిపాదించిన వ్యక్తి సంస్థ సభ్యుడు కాకపోవడంతో సాంకేతిక కారణాలపై ఆ నామినేషన్ తిరస్కరించబడింది.
దీంతో ఇల్లూరు లక్ష్మయ్య గారు ఏకగ్రీవంగా అధ్యక్షుడిగా ఎన్నికై, అధికారిక ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని స్వీకరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ, గతంలో మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కొణిజేటి రోశయ్య వంటి మహానుభావులు అలంకరించిన పదవిని చేపట్టడం తనకు గొప్ప గౌరవంగా భావిస్తున్నానని తెలిపారు.
ఆర్యవైశ్య సమాజ అభివృద్ధి, యువతకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు, సమాజ సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలు తన ప్రాధాన్యతలుగా ఉంటాయని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. మాజీ రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు టి.జి. వెంకటేష్ ఆశీస్సులతో సంస్థను మరింత బలోపేతం చేస్తానని తెలిపారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో ఏర్పడుతున్న పరిశ్రమల్లో ఆర్యవైశ్య యువతకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు పరిశ్రమల మరియు వాణిజ్య శాఖ మంత్రి టి.జి. భరత్ సహకారం తీసుకుంటానని కూడా ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ ఎన్నికతో ఆర్యవైశ్య సమాజంలో కొత్త ఉత్సాహం నెలకొంది. సమాజ అభివృద్ధికి, యువత భవిష్యత్తుకు కొత్త దిశలో ముందడుగు పడుతుందని నాయకులు ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.
Illuru Lakshmaiah, a respected community leader from Kurnool, has been unanimously elected as the President of the Andhra Pradesh State Arya Vysya Mahasabha for the term 2026–2028.
The president post was allocated to the Rayalaseema region, and the election process began on Friday. The election was conducted at the Mahasabha regional office in Kurnool under the supervision of honorary president Penugonda Subbarayudu.
Two nominations were received for the post, including one from Illuru Lakshmaiah and another from Mudiyam Ramana of Anantapur. However, Ramana’s nomination was rejected on technical grounds, as the proposer was not a valid member of the organization. Following this, Lakshmaiah was declared elected unanimously.
After receiving the official declaration, Lakshmaiah expressed his gratitude and said it is a great honor to take up a position previously held by eminent leaders like former Chief Minister Konijeti Rosaiah.
He assured that he will work dedicatedly for the development of the Arya Vysya community and strengthen the organization further. He also mentioned that he would take guidance and blessings from former Rajya Sabha member T.G. Venkatesh.
Lakshmaiah further stated that he would seek the support of Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath to create more job opportunities for Arya Vysya youth in the industries being established across Andhra Pradesh.
This development is expected to bring new momentum to community welfare initiatives and youth employment opportunities in the coming years.
