Introduction:
In a significant move to empower the underprivileged and meritorious students of their community, the AVOPA AP Educational Trust has announced its decision to distribute scholarships. The primary objective behind this initiative is to ensure that no student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. The trust aims to begin the process with limited resources and encourages students pursuing Intermediate, Engineering, NIT, IIT, IIIT, Medical, CA, and other professional courses to apply for these scholarships.
Application Procedure:
To apply for the scholarships, students are required to approach their local or nearby AVOPA unit to get their credentials verified. Alternatively, they can also apply through the dedicated WhatsApp group named “AVOPA AP Scholarships,” which has been created specifically for this purpose. Local AVOPA units hold the sole responsibility of verifying the financial status of the students. The deadline for submitting applications is set for 25th July, and the local AVOPA units are required to forward the applications to bhaskarcci007@gmail.com or via WhatsApp by 31st July.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Parents should be residents of Andhra Pradesh (AP).
- The student must have studied in Andhra Pradesh.
Selection Process:
AVOPA AP Educational Trust will finalize the candidates for scholarships based on merit and the availability of funds. It is expected that local AVOPA units will also share an equal share of the contribution to enable the trust to extend scholarships to a greater number of students.
EMCET Students:
AVOPA AP Educational Trust has also announced that counseling for EMCET students, including MBBS, Engineering, and other courses, is yet to commence. As a result, the trust will accept applications based on their ranks. Provisional sanction letters will be handed over to the selected students during the program scheduled on 13th August in Guntur. Scholarships will be provided based on their merit, subject to fulfilling other criteria. The selected students will receive the scholarships upon submission of their admission certificates or fee receipts.
Conclusion:
AVOPA AP Educational Trust’s decision to provide scholarships to underprivileged and meritorious students is a commendable service activity that aims to uplift the educational prospects of deserving individuals. By encouraging students to apply for these scholarships, AVOPA AP Educational Trust is making a positive impact on their community’s educational development. All AVOPA units are requested to actively cooperate in this initiative and spread awareness among students to ensure maximum participation.
