Vasavi Clubs International to Host Prestigious Dawn to Dusk Seva Sapthaham
Vasavi Clubs International, an ISO 9001-2015 certified social service organization, is set to host its prestigious Dawn to Dusk Seva Sapthaham from June 22 to 23, 2024. This year’s event will focus on seven key service initiatives aimed at making a positive impact on the community.
The Seva Sapthaham will kick off with a special program on June 15 and 16, featuring 48 hours of continuous service. This will be followed by the main event on June 22 and 23, which will see Vasavi Clubs members across the country engage in a variety of service activities.
The seven key service initiatives for this year’s Seva Sapthaham are as follows:
- Distribute blend sticks (canes for the blind) to five people or umbrellas to five street vendors.
- Provide stationery kits (including 100 notebooks donated by VCI) to 20 school students.
- Recognize the services of traffic police officers by distributing five masks, one towel, and (if possible) one fluorescent jacket.
- Enroll ten new members (membership fees can be paid only through QR code).
- Promote eye and organ donation and complete the relevant pledge form. Organ donors will be felicitated at a discount.
- Provide any service needed to the Vasavi Mata temple in your area.
- Donate either a four-wheeled rickshaw or two 1000-liter water tanks or a statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
For the first time in VCI history, a matching grant of Rs. 7500/- from VCI and an International President Dawn to Dusk Appreciation Pin will be awarded to the club that completes the service program under the seventh point.
In addition, all clubs that complete the seven programs mentioned above will receive the International President Dawn to Dusk Appreciation Pin.
This year’s Seva Sapthaham is expected to be the largest and most impactful yet. With the participation of Vasavi Clubs members from all over India, the event is sure to make a real difference in the lives of many people.
